My “parents” Vanna and Sheva. I call these 2 my parents because they have always treated me like their daughter. They’re like mentors to me. They give me advice about everything you could possibly name. From school to life lessons to just picking out an outfit for an occasion. Not once have they let me down. Both are role models to me because the things they do are phenomenal. Things I have never imagined I could do. If I need their help on something and I ask them something, they’re always there in a heartbeat. Not only are they my parents, but they are my inspiration. They’re both very smart and are living their life like adults. I know for a fact that i’m not ready for the real world. I’ve always depended on my mom and still am. Now that I ended a chapter in my life, i’m entering the real world to another chapter and I know that these 2 will help me in anyway that they can. I love them to death. Not only are they my “parents,” but a better term to call them are sisters. From me and my brother being the only children, they’re like sisters i’ve always dreamed of having. Besides front the fact that they graduated already and I BARELY see them, they are only a phone call away. When i’m having trouble and I need somebody to lean on, I know that they won’t let me down. I thank them for being the way they are. The 2 most amazing role models in my life :)
Graduation
I know this post is a little late, but graduating High School was one accomplishment that i’m glad I achieved. My family were there. My uncle and his kids came from LA. My family and close friends made that day very special. During the ceremony, I thought in my head that it sucks my dad couldn’t see his little girl walk the stage. But I knew deep down inside my heart that he is watching from above and is very proud of me. I walked that stage with my head held high just for him. To make him see that he did his job as a dad and that he has raised a wonderful daughter. My graduation and year of 2012 of High School I dedicate to him. For all his hard working and suffering that he didn’t get the chance to come to America and see his kids grow up. I love you dad and I wished you got to see your kids grow up. You’d be one proud dad.
Everybody that I see around school and all the ones i’m really good friends with, I won’t be able to see around anymore. I’m glad I graduated from a great school. The energy and the people there are amazing. My 2 best friends that I usually see on a daily, I won’t be able to see anymore. Everybody is going their separate ways to do their own thing, but we all have one thing in common. We all have that Maroon and Gold blood running through our veins and we are all Vikings. I know our school from my class, will all be very successful in the future. Some we may see on tv, some we may see making a lot of money doing the jobs they have always wanted to do. I’m glad I went to Edison High School and not another school. Besides from the fact that we all hear the negative rumors about Edison, everybody that came from the school all know that it’s not just all gangs and violence. We have one of the friendliest, most outgoing, and talented people I know. I’m proud to say that I graduated from Edison High School and I’m a lady Vike for life!
2 more weeks and my High School days are done. 4 years of pushing and thriving and I made it. One of the biggest accomplishments in my life. This is just the beginning of adulthood and reality. I’m scared for the real world, but I’ll pull through. Senior year was the most memorable in my High School years. Viking from the beginning, Viking for life. E-House! :)
